Every year Statistics Canada releases per capita consumption data on various food items according to food availability and disappearance data. You will find here the data specific to milk products. New data is released in May of each year and reflects the estimated consumption of the previous year.

This represents about 1.3 servings/day
Of the Total Fluid Milk consumption, 2% milk represents the largest intake:
- 2% Milk = 26.28 L
- 1% Milk = 12.75 L
- Whole (3.25%) milk = 7.84 L
- Skim milk = 6.05 L
- Milk chocolate drink = 4.03 L
